Kyra Minturn Sedgwick is a renowned American screen and television actress. Her role as the lead in the TV show , 'The Closer it is well-known across the world and in America specifically. Sedgwick was a fan of acting, art as well as Broadway when she was just 12 years old. Her introduction to Broadway through her mother who was an avid Broadway enthusiast. At the age of 16 Sedgwick was offered her first acting job professionally in the TV show "Another World". They married at 22. Sedgwick has made a mark on American TV with her easy acting. The Closer ran for seven seasons and earned her several awards including the Golden Globe.
